professionals have. This program allows certain healthcare professionals maintain
their certifications by completing courses online.
College Board
This site refers to another issue that can arise in
continuing professional education, and that is the measurement and ability to
recognize what education is valuable. This site explains the role of continuing
education units, and the role they play in CPE. CEUs are basically a way of
showing how much time an individual has spent training and completing
continuing education activities.
Western CPE
This site provides a good example of continuing professional
education, which in this case is geared towards CPAs. Among the vast amount of
information that is provided, there is also information available for training
opportunities and upcoming conferences.
